There are times when your MG-t weight scale needs to be zeroed before use, or you may want to learn how to level your device. This guide should help you along the way when using your Jolt Weight Scale.
How to set up your Jolt Weight Scale:
Switching your Scale On/Off
Power on your Scale by pressing the
key; the display will show the scale version then proceed to "Normal Weighing Mode."Please wait at least 5 minutes
a Warm-up time of 5 minutes stabilizes the measured values after switching the sale on.
To switch off the scale, press and hold the
again.
Leveling your Scale
Leveling your scale is important - The only way to ensure accurate and consistent measurements is to make sure the device isn't tilted (even slightly.) This is especially critical when measuring small or precise amounts for sale. A properly leveled scal can help eliminate risk.
The scale is equipped with a level indicator located underneath the weighing platform
remove the weighing platform by grasping the platform and pulling it directly upwards

Locate the leveling bubble in the top left corner of the scale base (facing the display)
Inspect the leveling bubble, and if necessary, you can use the leveling feet located on the bottom of the scale to change the balance of the scale until the bubble appears in the center of the indicator.
Zeroing your Scale
Environmental factors/conditions can lead to the balance not being exactly zero.
zeroing ensures that the display starts at “0.00” with no weight on the platform, so your measurements stay accurate. You may need to zero the scale if it was recently moved, if dust or debris is affecting the reading, if small items were left on the platform, or if the display drifts slightly over time.
Zeroing the scale helps prevent incorrect measurements and keeps your weighing process reliable.
With your scale powered on, you can set the display of your scale to zero any time by pressing the
key.
Using Tare (zeroing with a container)
The Tare function on your scale lets you reset the display to zero even when there’s already weight on the platform. This is especially useful when you’re weighing items inside a container. For example, if you place an empty bowl on the scale and press the Tare button, the scale will subtract the bowl’s weight and return the display to “0.00.” That way, only the contents you add to the bowl are measured.
With your scale powered on, load your item onto the platform
Press the
key. Zero is displayed and the tare is subtracted. The indicator above Net indicator will appear.
When you remove the weight from the platform. The tared weight will be displayed. The scale can only be set to one tare value.
To clear the Tare value:
To clear the tare value, remove the load from the platform.
Press the
key. Zero is displayed and when the net indicator disappears the tare weight will be cleared
Selecting Weighing units
Different tasks often require measurements in different units, and your scale allows you to switch between them for convenience and accuracy.
Simply press the UNIT key in normal weighing mode, the scale can convert to weighing units KG / LB / OZ, and the appropriate symbol will appear on the display.
