Here are all of the parts and pieces you may need to get your Jolt Print Station set up and ready to use:
Central JPS (Jolt Print Station)
ZT111 Printer
1 power cable for the Central JPS, and 1 per ZT111 printer
1 USB-B to USB-A cable per ZT111 Printer
Surge-protected Power Strip
USB Hub (if applicable)
MG-T30 or MG-T60 weight scale (if applicable)
Weight scale power cord (if applicable)
Weight scale Serial to USB-A cable (if applicable)
Weight scale Serial cable (if applicable) *NOTE* Items 9 and 10 should already be connected and secured together, as pictured below. If they are not, please contact Jolt Support for next steps
Before getting started, clear the area where the hardware will be placed. If utilizing multiple ZT111 printers, please ensure that you leave enough room between each printer to allow the side media door to open and to be able to reasonably change out a roll of labels or ribbon. This should be about 5-6 inches of clearance.
Place the central JPS (1), the ZT111 printer(s) (2), and the weight scale (7) in the designated area and make sure that all components are stable and secure and with enough room to properly function.
On the rear-side of the ZT111 printer(s) (2), attach one power cable (3) and the square end of one USB-B to USB-A cable (4) into the appropriate ports, as shown below. Repeat for any additional printers, if needed.
On the right-hand side of the central JPS (1), attach one power cable into the appropriate port.
If using a weight scale (7), flip the scale over to reveal the power and serial (looks like a phone jack) ports in the recessed section on the bottom. Plug the weight scale power cord (8) and weight scale serial cable(s) (9, 10) into the appropriate ports.
Locate the USB Hub (6). Plug the USB-A (male) ends from any of the ZT111 printers (2) and/or weight scale (7), into the open ports on the hub.
Plug the single USB-A (male) connector from the USB hub (6) into one of the USB-A (female) ports on the side of the central JPS unit (1) near the power port. *NOTE* The USB Hub (6) only supports up to 4 USB devices being plugged into it. If there are more than 4 devices present between ZT111 printers (2) and weight scale (7), you may need either an additional USB hub (6), or you can plug a single excess cable into the second USB-A (female) port on the side of the central JPS unit (1).
Plug all power cables (3, 8 (if applicable)) from the central JPS unit (1), all ZT111 printers (2), and weight scale (7) if applicable, into a surge-protected power strip (5), and plug the power strip into a working outlet.
Make sure everything powers on properly
The central JPS unit (1) screen can be turned on by pressing and holding the power button for the tablet/screen for a few seconds, which can be found in a cutout on the right side of the stainless steel frame.
The ZD410/ZD411 printer attached to the metal base of the central JPS unit (1) can be turned on, if needed, by pressing and holding the power button on the top of the printer.
The ZT111 printer (2) can be turned on by looking at the rear side of the printer and pressing the switch so the "I" side is pressed down toward the printer.
The weight scale (7) can be turned on by pressing and holding the red Zero | On/Off button on the front of the scale until the scale makes a beep.
