It may be necessary to replace the platen roller in order to clear paper jams.
This video will teach you how to replace the platen roller on a ZT111 printer. We'll show you how to open the media door and the printhead, remove the platen roller access cover, and rotate the platen bearings to the unlocked position. You'll learn how to effortlessly lift and slide the platen roller out of the platen housing. We will also share tips on how to set the new platen roller into the platen housing with the platen bearings securely locked. 1. Open the media door.
from the button of the case open the media door
2. open the printer head
The right side of print head pull it back ( see the picture below)
3. Remove the platen roller access cover
4. Rotate the platen bearing to unlock the position
5. Lift and slide the platen roller out of the platen housing.
6.With the platen bearings in the unlocked position, set the new platen roller into the platen housing.
7. Rotate the platen bearings to the locked position.
8. Install the platen roller access cover.
9.Clean the platen roller and printhead.
10.Close the printhead.
11. Close the media door.
